Accused dodged policemen in court, absconded

Dhamtari. The murder accused escaped from Dhamtari District Court by dodging the police. Due to which there was panic in the police department. The police have formed a separate team to search for the absconding prisoner. In the case, Dhamtari SP Anjaneya Varshney has claimed that the absconding prisoner will be found soon.

According to the information, a young man named Hemlal Sori had beaten his own father to death with a stick in Borai police station area. Hemlal Sori was arrested by Borai police station on charges of murder. Accused Hemraj Sori was presented in the District Court for the hearing of this case.

The court sentenced Hemlal to life imprisonment. Necessary formal action was being taken before admitting the prisoner to jail and the handcuffs of Hemlal Sori were removed to take a single fingerprint. Meanwhile, the police team which was with the accused got distracted here and there and the accused got the opportunity and ran away. Police has started searching for the accused. An investigation has also been started into how the incident occurred. After completion of the investigation, action will also be taken against negligent policemen.
