Accident during overtake, 10 people on Magic injured

UP. 10 people were injured in an accident on Yamuna Expressway on Saturday morning. All the injured were traveling on the Magic vehicle. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The matter is of Rabupura Kotwali area.

According to the information, about a dozen people from Kurail of Jewar area had come to Dadri on Friday to participate in the Jagran organized by one of their relatives. On Saturday morning, everyone was going back to Kurail via Yamuna Expressway in a magic vehicle. The Magic driver tried to overtake a vehicle in front in Rabupura Kotwali area, about 23 km ahead of Zero Point, while going towards Agra. During this time the driver could not control the vehicle and the vehicle overturned on the road.

There was hue and cry on the expressway after the accident. About ten people aboard the Magic suffered serious injuries. After receiving the information, police, relief and rescue team members reached the spot. All the injured have been admitted to Kailash Hospital in Jewar for treatment. Among the injured, Manveer (60), Veena (35), Ompal (34), Bala (35), Prakashi (38), Virendra (50) and Narendra (30) have suffered serious injuries.
