Abohar: Ravneet Bittu heard the complaints of railway consumers

Punjab: After a day-long visit to Abohar, Union Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu returned to New Delhi last night by a special train. At Panjkosi village, MLAs Sandeep Jakhar, councillors Narendra Verma and Satish Siwan said that the railways has provided a second platform at Abohar station. More than a dozen trains halt there, but there are neither water coolers, nor toilets nor shelters for hundreds of passengers. The MLA and other representatives informed that the Udyan Abha Toofan Express train (Sriganganagar-Howrah) was cancelled in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic. Its services have not been restored yet. After listening to these problems, Bittu interacted with the Ambala Divisional Railway Manager and directed to consider them and take necessary action.
