AAP opened election office in Jalandhar

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) inaugurated its party office for Jalandhar Lok Sabha constituency here today. The inauguration was done by AAP candidate Pawan Tinu from Jalandhar Lok Sabha seat.

The office, a one-kanal house near Guru Ravidas Chowk, was inaugurated after Tinuw cut the ribbon in the presence of cabinet minister Balkar Singh, MLA Raman Arora and Gurcharan Singh Channi, among others. The party office has been inaugurated about a month after Pawan Tinu joined AAP this year (in April).
Notably, while AAP has a history of inaugurating several offices in the district ahead of elections, the formal inauguration of the office this year has been slightly delayed compared to previous elections, when the party had to host its events months in advance. Had inaugurated its offices.
Party leaders said the office will remain operational only for election-related meetings and work related to the Lok Sabha elections to be held on June 1.

Before the elections, Aam Aadmi Party usually had one or two offices in Jalandhar. Last year, even before the Jalandhar by-elections, the party operated from an office in Ravidas Chowk area and another office in Model Town.
After Pawan Tinu joined AAP, his residence virtually operated as a meeting place for party workers and volunteers and remained the center of the party’s campaign-related meetings, activities and decisions for about a month. Tinu had earlier also said that the formal office of the party would be opened soon.

Before Tinu joined AAP, the office of party urban president and District Planning Board chairman Amritpal Singh at DAC Complex was also a hub of activity. Amritpal Singh said his personal office in Jalandhar West was used for formal AAP election related meetings and meetings of party workers. He said that people come to the District Planning Board office only for Planning Board related work and not for party related work.

On April 10 this year, the BJP had inaugurated its state office in Maqsudan for the Lok Sabha elections with a havan and path ceremony. The 15-room BJP state party office, located in the premises of Vijay Resorts at Maqsudan Chowk in Jalandhar, has been hosting important party meetings and press addresses. The party’s election campaign-related departments, including social media, information technology wing, campaign management and booth management, are also run from the same office.
Meanwhile, Congress Jalandhar candidate Charanjit Singh Channi rented a big house in Jalandhar’s Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar in early April to manage his campaign activity in the district, even before he was formally declared the party candidate. took.
Congress, AAP opened election offices in Phagwara
Phagwara: The election office of Congress candidate from Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha constituency Yamini Gomar was inaugurated here in Hargobind Nagar. Phagwara MLA Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal took charge of campaigning for the Congress candidate. Yamini appealed to the people to vote for Congress and assured them of working for the solution of their problems. Earlier, the election office of AAP candidate Dr Raj Kumar Chabbewal was also inaugurated by AAP leaders Joginder Singh Mann, Lalita Saklani, Ashok Bhatia and Daljit Raju in Hargobind Nagar on Tuesday evening.
