A youth was arrested for selling expensive brand of liquor, caught by the Excise Department

Ambikapur. A case of consumption of liquor from other states in Chhattisgarh has come to light. In Ambikapur city, a youth was bringing liquor from Uttar Pradesh to Chhattisgarh and consuming it. The Excise Department has arrested the accused Sudhir Pandey. A large quantity of foreign liquor of different brands has been seized from the accused.

According to the information, the Excise Department had received information from an informer that a youth named Sudhir Pandey has been bringing foreign liquor of different brands from Uttar Pradesh and consuming it in Ambikapur for a long time.

On the instructions of District Excise Officer Laxmikant Gaikwad, the Excise team took action and arrested the youth Sudhir Pandey. 16.24 bulk liters of liquor of different brands were recovered from the youth.
