A young man was standing with a knife in Bhatagaon Chowk, arrested

Raipur. Due to the work of Purani Basti police station, success was achieved in arresting the knifeman who had kept the knife illegally.

Information was received from the informer that a person was illegally possessing a sharp knife near Bhata village Chowk. Based on the informer’s information, he immediately rushed to the spot fearing that some serious crime might be committed. After arresting the said accused and searching him. Illegally sharpened knife was found in the possession of the accused. Crime number 196/2024, Section 25 Arms Act was registered against the accused. Accused Akhtar Khan, father Yusuf Khan, age 33 years, resident of Rajbandha Maidan, behind BJP office complex, arrested at police station Maudhapara, District Raipur Chhattisgarh. The tax was sent to judicial custody.
