KANNUR: A woman was found dead in a lodge in the Parassinikadavu area of ​​the district. The deceased woman has been identified as a resident of Cherukunnu. According to preliminary information, the woman had come to the lodge with a man named K.P. Vijayan from Cherukunnu. K.P. Vijayan has been reported missing since the incident, adding to the seriousness of the case.

Upon receiving the information, Taliparamba police arrived at the scene and sealed the lodge room. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. Lodge staff and people in the surrounding area are also being questioned. Police are trying to ascertain when the two arrived at the lodge and whether there was any dispute between them.

Taliparamba police stated that every aspect of the incident is being investigated. Separate teams have been deployed to search for the missing man.
