A woman selling marijuana near a Sulabh toilet was arrested
Dhamtari. Police has arrested a woman who was selling ganja in Mahant Ghasidas ward. Police received information from an informer that a woman named Dhuri is selling ganja illegally near the government toilet in Mahant Ghasidas ward. Upon receiving the information, the City Kotwali police team immediately went and caught the accused Usha Dhuri, wife of Karan Dhuri, age 48 years, resident of Mahant Ghasidas ward Dhamtari, Police station City Kotwali Dhamtari red handed while selling ganja.
3 kg 300 gram narcotic substance ganja worth Rs. 33000/- and cash Rs. 1000/-, total Rs. 34000/-, packed in a white cloth bag in polythene, was seized from her possession and a crime was registered against the accused under section 20 (b) NDPS Act and they were sent on judicial remand.
The above action was taken by Sub Inspector Santosh Netam, Prar from City Kotwali police station. Harish Sahu, constable Girish Mishra, Mahendra Sinha, Bhagwat Khandekar, lady constable Prachi Gupta, Anita Singh, Sunita Sahu, Sonia Sahu and from Shakti team M.R. Laxmi Nagvanshi, Maheshwari Sidar, Sarla Tiwari and driver Thakur Ram had a special contribution.
