A woman from Palohta village committed suicide by hanging herself

Sundarnagar: A woman from Palauhta village in Nachan area committed suicide by hanging herself. According to the case registered in BSL police station, 45-year-old Devki Devi, wife of Dila Ram, a resident of Palauhta, took this horrific step when the family members had gone to a function and only her mother-in-law was present at home. When the mother-in-law saw her hanging on the noose, the ground slipped under her feet. She immediately called the neighbors and after breaking the door and taking the woman down from the noose, she was taken to the hospital. Here the doctors declared the woman dead. According to the information, no suicide note has been recovered from the woman’s room, it is not known why she took this step. DSP Bharat Bhushan has confirmed that this woman committed suicide. The police have registered a case and got the post-mortem done and handed over the body to the family, further investigation is going on in the case.
