A tearful farewell to Sai Easwar

Many BC, various community leaders and locals bid a tearful farewell to Anumula Sai Eswarachari, a BC child who committed suicide by pouring petrol on himself after being upset over the Congress government going to the local body elections without providing reservations. The last rites of Sai Eswarachari were completed at Beerappanagar in Jagadgirigutta on Saturday. Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council Sirikonda Madhusudhanachari, National BC Association President R Krishnaiah, MLC Kodandaram, MLC Dasoju Sravan, Corporator Jagan and BC leaders paid their respects at his body. They consoled the family members and expressed their condolences. ACP Naresh Reddy and CI Venkatesham supervised the arrangements for Sai Easwarachari’s funeral.

The Vishwabrahmana and Vishwakarma Matrusangham have demanded that the Revanth government support his family and that the Congress government take full responsibility for the death of Sai Easwarachari and immediately announce an ex-gratia of Rs 1 crore to his family. Ravindra Bharathi Sangam state president Vemula Madanmohan said that the Congress election manifesto promised 42% BC reservations and that going to the polls without giving them is a betrayal of the BCs. CM Revanth Reddy asked the All India Congress Committee to take the entire party to Delhi and pressure them to introduce the BC reservation bill in Parliament. Otherwise, the BCs will teach a befitting lesson to the Congress and BJP. The meeting was attended by the association’s state honorary president Lalukota Venkatachari, general secretary Cholleti Krishnamacharyulu, and treasurer Ragifani Ravindrachari.
