A new era of economic renaissance: Amit Shah
New Delhi : Union Home Minister Amit Shah proudly said, ‘In the last 11 years, the country has seen a new era in the field of economic renaissance, social justice, cultural pride and national security.’
In a post on his X page, Amit Shah said as the BJP-led government completed its first year in power at the Centre for the third time on Monday:
The 11 years of rule under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi should be called the golden age of public service. With a commitment to reform, efficiency and change, the country is moving towards development and self-reliance. The country has seen a new era in the field of economic renaissance, social justice, cultural pride and national security in the last 11 years.
The central government has proved that when the leadership is clear, firm and public service is the goal, new achievements can be achieved in good governance and national security.
During the previous government, corruption and fraud were rampant in the country. The economy was in shambles. But, after the BJP-led government came to power in 2014, major changes were brought about in the country’s economic development under the principle of ‘minimum government, maximum governance’. Instead of the politics of appeasement, development of all, including farmers, women, backward, Dalits and oppressed communities, was ensured.
Terrorism and Naxalism have been eradicated and peace has been restored in Jammu and Kashmir and the North-Eastern states. India is now responding to terrorists in their homes. This shows a change in India’s attitude.
He said that the efforts of the Central Government will continue to make India a leading country in all fields and bring radical changes in the lives of all people.
