A meeting was called to further improve law and order

On the instructions of Collector Namrata Gandhi, today CEO District Panchayat Roma Srivastava and Superintendent of Police Anjaneya Varshney held a meeting of district administration and police officials to further improve law and order in the district. In the meeting, the officials discussed the reasons for accidents on the roads and the plan to prevent them.

During this, necessary repair or expansion of PD drain located on the main road of Dhamtari was asked to be done, so that accidents can be prevented. The Superintendent of Police told the officials to mark the accident prone areas of the district and install stoppers, breakers etc. there and provide adequate lighting in the underbridge built on the bypass road, so that any untoward incident can be avoided. Along with this, it was said to convene a meeting of the organizing committees and give them instructions to avoid any kind of untoward incident in the upcoming Ganesh Mahotsav.
