A girl who insisted on marrying her boyfriend created a ruckus in the police station and attempted suicide

The woman constable stopped the girl from committing suicide. The police made the girl and the woman from the other side sit in the police station and arrested the accused alleged lover and the girl’s brother and challaned them for disturbing the peace. A girl, resident of a village in Bhopa police station area, reached the police station on Friday morning and insisted on marrying her alleged lover. The girl has also made serious allegations against her lover of raping her by giving false promises of marriage.

When the boy refused to marry her, the girl reached the police station and created a huge ruckus and tried to commit suicide, when the woman constable snatched the matchstick from the girl’s hand. After a long ruckus, the police made the girl and a woman from the other side sit in the police station, before this the victim girl gave a written complaint and told that since August 2018 she had been in a relationship with a youth from the same village, who was raping her by giving false promises of marriage. During this time, the accused also made obscene photos and videos of her and started blackmailing her.

The girl’s family had arranged her marriage, but the accused alleged lover broke her relationship by saying false things about her. On Thursday, relatives had come to the accused’s house, when she got the information, she went to his house where three persons including the accused abused and beat her. The victim has filed a complaint in the police station and demanded action. The police took the accused alleged lover and the victim girl’s brother into custody and challaned them.

Both the parties have made allegations against each other. The victim has demanded action against the accused. Senior Sub Inspector Naresh Singh said that one party had reported the girl’s kidnapping and the other had reported an attack on the house, both the information was found to be false, one person from each side has been challaned for disturbing the peace.
