A dead body washed ashore near Tiruchendur

Tamil Nadu : There was a stir in the area when the body of an unidentified woman was washed ashore on Amlinagar beach in Tiruchendur.

The local people immediately informed the police and told that the body of a 50-year-old woman has been washed ashore.

After this, Tiruchendur Coast Guard Police reached the spot and recovered the body of the woman and sent it for post-mortem.

Apart from this, the police have registered a case in this regard and are also investigating who was the woman found dead? Which city did she belong to? Did she die by being washed away in the waves? Or did she die due to some other reason?
