A boy studying with a minor raped her, hurt by blackmail, the girl student committed suicide
Ghaziabad (IANS) | Class 10 student committed suicide by hanging herself in Mussoorie area of Ghaziabad. The family alleges that the boy studying in the girl’s school was blackmailing her. In the absence of family members, the accused also raped the student. Hurt by this, the girl student committed suicide. Registering an FIR, the police have taken the accused juvenile into custody and are being sent to a juvenile home.
The matter is of Sunday night in a colony of Mussoorie police station area in Ghaziabad. A 14-year-old girl student was studying in class 10th in a school. Her father is in army and his posting is in Rajasthan. The student’s brother is currently admitted in a hospital in Delhi. On Sunday, the student’s mother went to the hospital to see her son. Only grandparents were present at home. Dada also went to a nearby village for some time. The relatives allege that during this time the classmate of the girl student entered the house and raped her.
When the student’s grandfather reached home on Sunday late evening, 10-12 youths were present there. They had come there in search of the student’s classmate Kishore. During this, that teenager found him in the room on the roof. They took him away from there. After this the girl student got tensed. The door of the room on the terrace was ringing again and again at around two o’clock in the night. When the grandfather reached upstairs, he found the granddaughter hanging in the room. Objectionable material was also recovered from the student’s room. It was only after seeing this material that they came to know that the girl student had been raped.
ACP Nimish Patil of Mussoorie area said that the police station reached the spot on Monday morning. The body of the girl has been sent for postmortem. On the Tahrir of the relatives, a case has been registered against the classmate of the deceased for rape, Poxo Act, abetment to suicide. The accused juvenile is in police custody. He is being sent to a juvenile home.
