A 25 year old youth was killed in a fight in a love triangle

Bhubaneswar. A 25-year-old youth was murdered in a love triangle fight in Lakshmi Sagar area of Bhubaneswar. The deceased has been identified as Anjan Behera. Gautam Sahu, a friend of the deceased, said, “When the main accused Pinku contacted me, I was in Khurda for some personal work and he asked me to come to Chintamanieshwar and meet him. After this, I along with Aman met him at 1:45 in the night. Went to meet.

“Pinku and five other people, including a girl, also reached the spot. During the conversation, Pinku suddenly became angry and attacked Anjan with a sword. I managed to escape, while Pinku and others brutally attacked Anjan.” Sources said that Pinku is a habitual criminal. He was in a relationship with a girl from Chintamanishwar for the last few years. Meanwhile, bartender Gautam and Pinku’s girlfriend come into contact and become friends. Pinku became upset with the fact that these two were in a relationship.

On Friday, Pinku called Gautam near his girlfriend’s house to talk. Gautam and Anjan had gone to attend a marriage ceremony on the outskirts of the city. He reached the spot at around 1.45 in the night. Inspector P. Shyam Sundar Rao, in-charge of Laxmisagar police station, said, “There was a big dispute between them, after which a fight broke out. During this, Pinku and others attacked Anjan with sharp weapons. Locals took him to the hospital. Where he later died.At present, efforts are on to nab the accused.
