It rained in Rajnandgaon today too, rivers and streams are in spate

Rajnandgaon. It has been raining continuously for 11 days in Rajnandgaon district. All the rivers and streams are in spate. The monsoon rains are continuing in every part. Due to this, more than 50 percent of the rain of the entire season has already happened before the end of July. Such a situation has arisen after about 10 years. The monsoon rains have been continuing since Monday morning.

So far 601.5 mm of rain has been recorded in the district. Which is 40 percent more than the average rainfall of these days. More than 400 mm of rain has occurred in just 10 days. The reservoirs have also become full due to continuous rain. At the same time, the roads in Rajnandgaon Civil Line area are flooded.

The waterlogging in Mongra Barrage has reached 75 percent. Apart from this, there is more than 70 percent water in other reservoirs as well. The Meteorological Department has predicted that moderate to light rain will continue in the district for the next three days as well.
