Buffalo dies in suspected leopard attack in Medak

Sangareddy: Another leopard attack on domesticated animals has been reported in Medak. According to officials, a leopard killed a buffalo in Thonigandla village of Ramayampet mandal on Friday morning. Farmer Kothagar Ramesh had kept his cattle in a shed on the outskirts of the village on Thursday night. When he returned to the shed on Friday morning, he found one of them dead. Ramesh called forest officials, who visited the spot and inquired about the matter. Forest officials have put the villagers on alert. Officials have asked the villagers not to venture into the forest alone.
