Floods wreak havoc in Pune, a part of the hill fell on the villa
Maharashtra: Three people including a Nepali citizen died due to electric shock amid floods in Pune. At the same time, three people got trapped in their luxurious villa due to a hill slide in Lavasa city. The disaster control room said that in the first incident, three people were scorched while trying to take their mobile snack stall to a safe place from the flood waters near the Z Bridge around 3 am.
Officials said that all were taken to a nearby hospital, where they died during treatment. The deceased have been identified as Nepali youth Shiva Jidbahadur Pariyar (18), Akash V. Mane (21) and Abhishek A. Ghanekar (25). The second incident is from Lavasa city. Due to heavy rains, a part of the hill collapsed and fell on three large villas. Three people are reported to be trapped in it. An NDRF team has reached the spot for rescue operation and the victims have not been identified yet.
