Mulugu: Police search team trapped in the forest airlifted

Mulugu: A police team which was stranded in the rains while returning after a search operation near Ellemedi forest area of ​​the district was airlifted on Monday. According to reports, the team had gone to the forest for a special operation five days ago and while returning they got stranded near Penugolu Vaagu which was in spate due to heavy rainwater two days ago. The police team was airlifted to Vaajidu by helicopter when the flood subsided on Monday. After landing at Vaajidu, the police team was immediately taken to the hospital for medical checkup as they were stranded in the forest for five days.
