Zirakpur: Scooter riding youths snatched the phone of a pedestrian

Zirakpur: Two unknown scooty riding youths snatched the mobile phone of a resident of Preet Colony. The victim Ruby, who is a domestic help, said that she had kept Rs 3,000 in the mobile phone cover. She said that she was returning home on foot at around 6 pm when the youths came from behind and snatched her phone. She raised an alarm. Passersby chased the two, but the miscreants managed to escape on the Chandigarh-Ambala national highway. Police are investigating the matter.
