It is the best-selling motorcycle in its segment. In such a situation, the company will now update it. This update will bring new features to the Classic 350. Mechanical modifications are not possible in the bike.
Like the current Classic 350 series, it has also been introduced in several variants. For the lower variants, a model with rear drum brakes is likely to be available. The biggest visual change will likely be LED lighting on the updated Classic model. LED headlights, taillights and turn indicators will be available. The current price of Royal Enfield Classic 350 ranges from Rs 1.93 lakh to Rs 2.25 lakh.
Sales of Royal Enfield Classic 350 have been affected by competitors like Honda, Triumph, Harley-Davidson, Hero and Classic Legends. With these updates, Royal Enfield aims to revive its traditional model and increase sales. The updated Classic 350 range is expected to be unveiled in August. Before the BSA Gold Star 650 arrives in India.
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 sold 24,803 units in June 2024. In June 2023, it sold another 27,003 units. This means 2,200 fewer units were sold, showing a growth of 8.15% year-on-year. The Hunter 350 sold 15,609 units in June 2024. In June 2023, there were another 16,162 units. This means 553 fewer units were sold, showing a growth of 3.42% year-on-year. The Bullet 350 sold 9,610 units in June 2024. In June 2023, there were another 12,339 units. This means that 2,729 fewer units were sold and registers a year-on-year growth of 22.12%.
