Union Minister released an update to solve Microsoft problem

Union Minister: Union Minister: Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Friday said that the cause of the outage in Microsoft services has been identified and updates have been released to address the issue. He also mentioned that the NIC network was not affected by the outage. The Union Minister further informed that MEITY (Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology) is in touch with Microsoft and its partners regarding the global disruption. CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team) has issued a technical advisory related to the disruption in Microsoft services. “MEITY is in touch with Microsoft and its partners regarding the global outage. The cause of this outage has been identified and updates have been released to resolve the issue. CERT is issuing a technical advisory. NIC has not been impacted,” said X Vaishnav on the microblogging site. Microsoft users across the world have reported massive interruptions in services, and outage tracking website DownDetector shows users reporting interruptions in various services.

Globally, Microsoft’s cloud outage caused US airlines to cancel flights, but the tech giant later reportedly said that the outage of its cloud services in Central America has been resolved.

A new update from CrowdStrike (cybersecurity software company) is said to be the cause of the outage, which affected Windows desktops and laptops.

On outage tracking website DownDetector, users reported problems across Microsoft’s lineup, including Azure and Teams.

Microsoft said it is investigating the issue “which is affecting users’ access to various Microsoft 365 apps.” and the ability to access services.”

Meanwhile, all Indian airlines on Friday reported that their systems across the network are affected by the ongoing outage in Microsoft Azure. Passengers are advised to contact their respective airlines for flight-related information. Microsoft Azure,
