Gujarat: Kutch will witness a historic festival, devotees will arrive from all over the country on the occasion of Narnarayan Dev Bicentenary Festival

World Youth Conference was organized by Kutch Narayan Dev Yuvak-Yuvati Mandal at Badrikashram, Mirajpar Road, Bhuj, a day before the festival starting on Tuesday 18th. Kutch will witness the historic festival. Celebration of completion of 200 years of establishment of Birjate Narnarayan Dev in Swaminarayan Temple of Bhuj is to be celebrated. In which lakhs of devotees from all over the country and the world will participate. Badrikashram has been built on 222 acres near Bhuj for the historic festival. Various exhibitions and other attractions have been created. Organized from 18-04-2023 to 26-04-2023, the organizers estimate that more than 30,00,000 devotees of the country, more than 25,000 NRI devotees will be present in this festival.

Youth conference organized today

Aarti was performed by the saints of Bhuj Swaminarayan Temple at the World Youth Conference held at Badrikashram. The torch was lit with the Aarti. The youth along with Narnarayan Dev sitting on the chariot reached Badrikashram with a cycle rally by making him sit on a lotus tableau vehicle. Here the main gate of Badrikashram was inaugurated in the presence of Mahant Swami Dharmanandadasji, Deputy Mahant Bhagwatjivan Dasji, Kothari councilor Jadavji Bhagat Adisant. Therefore, thousands of devotees will participate in Pothi Yatra.

This will create attraction in the festival

A grand construction of “Badrikashram” has been done in 222 acres near Mirajpar Road. In which about 35 different domes have been constructed. Various exhibitions have been organized at some of these places. So far more than six lakh devotees have been benefited from this exhibition. While more than 2 lakh devotees have come to this exhibition in Gau Mahima exhibition. Various attractions including light and sound show, performance of various religious programs, games for children have been set up.

Around 51 scholars from all the four continents of India will be present

Talking about the grand procession, there will be more than 200 decorated vehicles, slots, more than 30 different band parties, more than 108 village bhajan groups, Chaturveda recitation during the lesson, about 51 scholars from all four continents of India. Arrangements have been made for the Mahapuja for the devotees who have come from abroad. In which daily more than 500 and till now 9000 Hari devotees from country and abroad have performed Mahapuja. In Ghanshyam Bal Parayan, children will be made aware of various religious subjects, an exhibition of satsang work done by Naranarayandev Yuvak-Yuvati Mandal has also been organized.

These dignitaries are expected to visit

Political dignitaries who are likely to attend this 9 (nine) day festival include Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister Purushottam Rupala as well as Mansukh Mandaviya, Devsingh Chauhan, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath, Minister Swatantra Dev Singh may join. If we talk about the political dignitaries of Gujarat state then Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Legislative Assembly Speaker Shankar Choudhary, Gujarat State Bharatiya Janata Party President C.R. Patil, Kanu Desai, Radhavji Patel, Hrishikesh Patel, Harsh Sanghvi and Prafulla Panseria etc. can attend the festival. Along with this, Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat is also likely to attend the function. Various saints from across the country have also been invited to participate in this historic festival.

Many devotees have come from India and abroad to serve

Preparations for the festival are going on for the last 6 months, and many devotees have come from India and abroad for the service. At the same time, information about donation of crores of rupees has also been received. Donors will also present jewelery worth crores of rupees to the presiding deity at Bhuj Swaminarayan Temple during the festival. Many religious festivals have been organized in Kutch till now. But such a grand festival is being celebrated for the first time and lakhs of devotees will attend the festival.
