On the instructions of CM Sai, visually impaired Parvati got a new Android phone

Raipur: Visually impaired Parvati is very happy to get a new Android phone. Expressing special thanks to Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and District Administration Dantewada, she said that the state government is running many welfare schemes for the welfare of various sections. In this connection, I have received a new Android phone from the Social Welfare Department today on the special initiative of the District Administration. Now I will study by listening through this cell phone and this cell phone will be helpful for me in realizing my dreams.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai is conscious about the education of daughters and to encourage them for education, textbooks, bicycles and other facilities are being provided by the state government. So that daughters can become self-reliant by getting educated. For 18-year-old visually challenged Parvati of a lower middle class farmer family of village Matenaar in Dantewada district, blindness never became a hindrance in studies. Keeping this passion for education in mind, the district administration gave her an Android cell phone today as an encouragement. In this regard, Parvati’s elder brother Maniram said that his sister was visually challenged since birth, but she has been inclined towards studies since childhood. On the strength of her willpower, she completed her primary education from village Bade Paneda. Then she took admission in Saksham-2 located in Jawanga for high school studies.

He said that the state government has made special arrangements for the study of disabled students in Saksham-2 residential school located in education hub Jawanga. Parvati Podiam successfully passed the 12th examination here. Currently, she is studying in the first year of graduation in Degree Girls College located in Raipur. In this regard, her brother said that Parvati had taken admission in the said college this year. Where visually challenged students like her are specially provided education. Since now keeping the disabled in mind, a special type of app facility has been provided in modern cell phones, in which disabled students can study by understanding their syllabus well by listening and Parvati Podiam has received education in Saksham-2 Residential School of Jawanga through Braille script. But she needed an Android phone for college studies. She was facing problem in buying a mobile due to her poor financial condition.

Parvati had contacted the Social Welfare Department and applied for a cell phone. The district administration took immediate action on the application and provided a cell phone for her bright future. Expressing happiness, Parvati said that now she will be able to complete her graduation without any worry. She further said that in future she wants to become a teacher so that other disabled students like her can get educated and make their place in the society.
