Two real brothers arrested for murder in New Rajendra Nagar
Raipur: Two real brothers accused of committing murder over a minor issue have been arrested. According to the police, Shiv Kumar Sahu lodged a report at New Rajendra Nagar police station that he lives in the under-construction Sharda Vihar under New Rajendra Nagar area and works as a mason. Salik Ram Dhruv also lived near his house and he also worked as a laborer. On 14/07/2024 at around 08:30 pm, Salik Ram Dhruv was beaten with fists and a wooden stick kept nearby by Nanu and Dikesh, who lived in his neighborhood, after arguing over something and both of them were abusing him obscenely by threatening to kill him. When the applicant went to intervene, Nanu and Dikesh also assaulted him using obscene language.
Salik Ram Dhruv suffered serious injuries on his face and head due to the assault by Nanu and Dikesh. He was admitted to the hospital for treatment. During the treatment, Salik Ram died on 16.07.24. On which a case number 304/24 under sections 296, 115(2), 351(2), 3(5), 103 BNS was registered against the accused in New Rajendra Nagar Police Station.
Under the guidance of senior officers and under the leadership of New Rajendra Nagar Police Station In-charge, detailed interrogation of the applicant and the people around was done by the team of New Rajendra Nagar Police Station. While investigating the accused, the team members arrested both the real brothers Umesh alias Nanu Yadav and Digesh Yadav and sent them to jail on judicial remand.

- Umesh alias Nanu Yadav father Badku Yadav age 29 years resident of village Rawan police station and district Balouda Bazar. Present address – Sharda Vihar Amlidih New Rajendra Nagar Raipur.
- Digesh Yadav father Badku Yadav age 31 years resident of village Rawan police station and district Balouda Bazar. Present address – Sharda Vihar Amlidih New Rajendra Nagar Raipur.
