Hyderabad: Food safety inspection at Galleria Next Imperial Mall

Hyderabad: The task force team of Telangana’s food safety department inspected food businesses at Galleria Next Imperial Mall in Punjagutta. Dosa Darbar and Chaat Republic were found operating businesses without valid licences.

During the inspection conducted last Friday, upon examination, the restaurants displayed an expired registration certificate and several hygiene violations were also found. Along with cockroach infestation, the floor inside the kitchen premises was found broken, which could possibly house pests. Dustbins were also found open without lids. While some food handlers were found without hairnets and uniforms, medical fitness certificates were not available. However, raw food items and semi-prepared food items stored in steel containers were covered and properly labelled.
