DRG team on search killed a Maoist

Bijapur. The jawans got success in the encounter between the police and Maoists in Naimed police station area. In the encounter, the police killed a male Maoist and recovered his body. According to sources, the DRG team from Reddy camp had left for Naxal patrolling search this morning. During this, there was an encounter between the police and the Maoists in village Kachlawari at 8 am. No police personnel has suffered injuries in the encounter. There is information that 2 Maoists have been arrested from the spot.

The body of a Maoist has been recovered. However, this has not been confirmed by the police yet.Bastar IG Sundarraj said, the road which was closed for 30-35 years due to Naxal problem has been restarted. In this fury, negative activities like damaging the mobile tower installed for the convenience of the public and blocking the road by the Maoists to trouble the general public have also been seen in the past. For the last few months, this type of negative activity is being seen more and more. For this, we will work with a better strategy, so that the people of the area do not face any kind of inconvenience. For this, we have discussed with the police officers of the district.
