Kannauj: Container hits two bike riders, both youths die

Kannauj Kannauj. An uncontrolled container crushed the bike riders near GT Road Jewan Toll Plaza, killing both the youths. Police is busy in identifying both of them. Both were going somewhere with a cake on a bike with Delhi number.

The youths who were going with a cake on a bike with Delhi number were hit by a container near GT Road Jewan Toll Plaza at around 8 pm on Saturday night, due to which both the youths were seriously injured. Police reached the spot and sent both of them to the district hospital, where the doctor declared them dead after examination. Police kept the bodies of both the youths in the post-mortem house. Jalalpur outpost in-charge Deepak Kumar tried to identify the bodies of both the youths, but could not find out till evening. People are saying that the youths are from Delhi as the bike was from Delhi.

At the same time, the police is assuming that both the youths were going somewhere with a cake. Therefore, those youths are related to some local village. That is why the police is trying to identify the dead in the nearby villages. Inspector-in-charge Jaiprakash Sharma said that efforts are being made to identify the two youths on the basis of the bike number.
