Girl drowns in pond while fishing in Alappuzha

ALAPPUZHA: A girl drowned in a pond while fishing. The dead is Lekha, daughter of Sivaprasad of Kareelakulangara in the district. The incident happened Friday morning at 10 am
She slipped and fell while fishing in the pond near her house. The locals said she did not know swimming. Lekha just completed her plus two and was waiting for her graduation classes to begin.
