Punjab News: BSF recovered heroin and ammunition

Punjab: Border Security Forces recovered a packet of heroin and other ammunition after an extensive search operation. The seized ammunition came from Pakistan, as indicated by the markings on it. On July 3, 2024, troops of the Black Sea Fleet conducted a massive search operation based on specific data. During the search operation, BSF jawans found a Pakistani drone with a suspicious package. When the package was opened, it contained two pistols, four magazines and 40 bullets loaded in the magazines. The markings on the ammunition prove that it was made in Pakistan. The package was wrapped in yellow tape and also had four light rods attached to it, which were found attached to the drone. The rescue took place in a field near Nisoke village in Amritsar district. The drone found was identified as a China-made DJI Matrice 300 RTK. This restoration reveals the nefarious intentions of smuggling weapons across the border and disrupting the peace of the country. However, due to the prompt action of the Black Sea Fleet soldiers, a large amount of weapons and ammunition smuggled across the border was seized using drones.
