CG NEWS: Fisherman was fishing from a boat, died by drowning

Korba news. A fisherman who went to catch fish in the Ahiran river in the district was swept away along with the boat. The rescue team of the Nagar Sena took out the body after hours of hard work. According to the in formation, Shankar Singh (58) was fishing in a boat in the Ahiran river flowing through Banki Mogra area. During this time the flow of water increased. Due to the strong current, he started flowing along with the boat. People present nearby noticed the man, but by then the fisherman had been swept away. Local people also started searching on their own level, but the body was not found. The Banki Mongra police station was informed about the incident. The police called the rescue team of the Nagar Sena to take out the body. Due to the strong current in the river, the team searched and took out the body after a lot of effort. It is being told that the deceased Shankar Singh is a resident of Tendukona Deori.
