Head constable reprimands farmer, then he dies of heart attack

A farmer, who was scared by the scolding of the head constable who went to investigate the case of assault over land dispute in Gandhinagar police station area of ​​​​Surguja, got a heart attack and died. When the farmer was taken to the medical college, the doctors declared him dead. On receiving the information of the incident, the District President of Congress also reached the police station. Congressmen have alleged that the farmer died due to the fear of the new law. According to the information, Bhagwati Rajwada, a resident of village Sukhri of Gandhinagar police station area, had lodged a report on June 29 against her uncle Ramsundar Rajwada and other family members for abuse and assault over a land dispute. Bhagwati Rajwada’s husband has died.

According to Bhagwati, her uncle and his family want to usurp the land by putting pressure on her. Head constable Veena Rani Tirki of Gandhinagar police station, who is investigating the case, went to Sukhri Kalapara with Bhagwati Rajwada at 2 pm on Monday afternoon. There, 15-20 people were gathered by Ramsunder Rajwada and his family members. The family members allege that when Veena Rani Tirkey scolded Ramsunder Rajwada, he fell unconscious. When Ramsunder became unconscious, Veena Rani Tirkey called the Dial 112 team and he was brought to the Medical College Hospital, where the doctors declared him dead after examination. The family members have alleged that Veena Rani Tirkey not only scolded him, but also pushed him.

Due to which Ramsunder went into shock and died of a heart attack. The deceased Ramsunder was the Gram Patel and Chairman of the School Development Committee of Sukhri. The woman police officer scolded him in anger, due to which he got scared. He was a gentleman. This is the side effect of the new law. In rural areas, the fear that the police will do whatever they want has developed in the minds of the people. This is not right. In the case, Congress leaders have demanded the suspension of the guilty woman head constable. On receiving the information, Ambikapur CSP Rohit Shah, SHO Pradeep Jaiswal and police officers reached the spot. Police officers talked to the family members and Congress leaders. The family members said that if the police officers had spoken politely, this incident would not have happened. Police is investigating the matter.
