Raigarh: 15 elephants are spreading terror

Raigarh. A group of 15 elephants is roaming in the forest adjoining village Junwani, Balaria and Hamirpur road adjoining Bangurasia. On Saturday night, a tusker got separated from the group and came to the village. Where it broke two kutcha houses and ate the paddy kept inside. At the same time, it has also damaged the crops of 5 farmers. There was an atmosphere of panic in the village on Saturday night.

According to the Forest Department and the villagers, on Saturday, the tusker elephant separated from the group in Junwani created a lot of ruckus in the village, damaging the houses of villagers Ramlal Dildhar Kujur Junwani and Panchram Ghasiram Khalkho and also ate more than 80 kg of rice kept in the house. The villagers were in panic due to the sudden arrival of the elephant late at night.
