Bulandshahr: Court sentenced three accused of dowry murder to 12 years each

Uttar Pradesh: A court in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh has sentenced three accused of dowry murder to 12 years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs 20,500 each. Public Prosecutor Veerpal Singh said that Majid and Sajid, residents of village Mirzapur in Kotwali Bulandshahr rural area and Allah Noor Raisa killed the niece of Naeem Ahmed, resident of village Dohli in Kotwali Bulandshahr rural area, by pouring petrol on her and setting her on fire when their dowry demand was not met in the year 2019.

In this case, a case was registered on 15 June 2019 at Kotwali Dehat police station under Section 498A/304B/323 IPC and 3/4 DP Act. The police sent the charge sheet to the court on 15 July 2019 and completed the prosecution proceedings by making strong and effective advocacy in the court. As a result, today in Harkesh Kumar Court FTC-04, the accused Majid, Sajid and Rahisha were found guilty and sentenced to 12 years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs 20,500 each.
