Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav: Give some time to the Chief Minister to bring the administration back on track
VIJAYAWADA. Vijayawada: Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav said Andhra Pradesh has faced tough times during the five-year tenure of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He asked the people to give some time to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to bring the state’s administration back on track. Addressing the attendees at the Black Day Emergency Awareness Conference held at Siddhartha Arts College on Friday, he accused the Congress of forgetting the atrocities committed during the Emergency and instead blaming the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The minister accused the Congress government led by then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi of misusing Article 356. He praised media giants like then Indian Express editor Ramnath Goenka, Organiser editor KR Malkani, Eenadu editor Ramoji Rao and others for their contribution during the Emergency. On the occasion, five senior citizens who fought against the government and were arrested during the Emergency were felicitated.
