CS Sandhu reviewed the arrangements being made in Kedarnath Dham Yatra route and Dham, gave these instructions

In order to conduct the Kedarnath Dham Yatra in a smooth and orderly manner, Hon. Chief Secretary Dr. SS Sandhu reviewed the arrangements and preparations being made in Shri Kedarnath Dham Yatra Marg and Dham and the reconstruction works being done in Kedarnath Dham by conducting an aerial survey with District Magistrate Mayur Dixit. mother. After the aerial survey, the Chief Secretary took a meeting with the officials related to the yatra at the local hotel and inquired about the arrangements and preparations being made and the reconstruction work being done in Kedarnath Dham. He District Magistrate Mayur Dixit and S.C. Lonivi Rajesh Sharma has been instructed to ensure that whatever reconstruction works are being done in Kedarnath Dham, those works are completed quickly.

He has given instructions to the Executive Engineer Lonivi to increase the number of laborers to complete the ongoing construction works in a timely manner. Along with this, he made sure that whatever construction material is required in Kedarnath should be delivered on top priority before the start of the yatra. He has also instructed that if any material is needed, make sure to buy it immediately, if any action is to be taken from the government level, then they should be informed immediately.

While reviewing the travel arrangements preparations, appreciating the travel arrangements made by the district administration, the Chief Secretary said that there is a need to pay special attention to health and cleanliness and proper health and cleanliness facilities should be ensured in Kedarnath walking route and Yatris in Sonprayag. Proper health test should be done. He instructed to install CCTV cameras in the offices of the operating heli service companies and to deploy police personnel so that there is no inconvenience in the heli companies. In order to keep a strict vigil on the cleanliness system, he also asked to take feedback from the yatra pedestrian route and hotels, dhabas operating in Dham so that proper cleanliness system is maintained.

Along with this, he also instructed to install CCTV cameras for accessible toilets and cleanliness in the travel route. Along with this, to keep the travel system in order, instructions were given to operate the travel control room so that the pilgrims could be informed about any kind of problem in the control room. On receiving the information from the control room, the related arrangements should be promptly rectified from the concerned officer as soon as possible. He has also given instructions that proper accommodation arrangements should be made for the stay of the pilgrims in Kedarnath Dham and the power supply should remain smooth in the track route and Dham.

Giving information about the ongoing construction works in Kedarnath Dham, District Magistrate Mayur Dixit said that the executive body has been directed to expedite the construction works and to ensure the availability of construction material and other food items in Kedarnath Dham. Arrangements have been made for thousands of horses and mules only for construction and delivery of food items.

In order to provide better medical facilities to the pilgrims in Kedarnath Dham and Yatra Marg, all necessary preparations have been made by the Medical Department and MRPs have been made at 12 places on the Yatra Marg and 22 doctors and 22 pharmacists have been deployed for roster wise duty. Will be installed and all have been given proper training, in which 3 physicians and 2 orthopedic doctors have been deployed. For essential services, 6 ambulances have been deployed on the travel route, in which 3 ambulances have been kept in reserve.

Sulabh International has been given the responsibility of cleanliness in the Yatra Marg and Kedarnath Dham for the cleanliness arrangements and cleanliness will be done by the Kedarnath Nagar Panchayat in the temple premises. Along with this, District Panchayat, Forest Department and Nagar Panchayat Ukhimath, Agastyamuni, Tilwara and Municipality Rudraprayag have been given the responsibility of cleanliness in their respective areas, for which SOP has been prepared for the work being done by all.

Proper health test of horses and mules being operated on the yatra route is being conducted by the Animal Husbandry Department. Along with this, the registration of Dandi-Kandi is also being done by the District Panchayat, for whose successful implementation online data of all will be prepared by G-Max. Jal Sansthan has installed 9 water ROs from Sonprayag to Kedarnath Dham to provide pure drinking water to the passengers on the yatra route. Along with this, 74 stand posts have been set up along the Yatra Marg and up to Kedarnath Dham. 39 water bottles have been installed up to Ghoda Padav Yatra Marg, in which hot water has been arranged at 8 places and streets have been installed along the entire Yatra Marg for electricity.

The District Magistrate has informed that for proper accommodation arrangements for the coming pilgrims, arrangements will be made for 2500 people to stay in the guest house of GMVN from Guptkashi to Badi Lincholi, along with this, 2 tents in Kedarnath Dham Colony, New Ghoda Padav and Himlok Colony. In which 80-80 beds are being prepared, in which there is accommodation for 1600 people and arrangements have been made for a total of 2500 people to stay in the tents and guest houses of GMVN. Along with this, local traders have been given permission to set up temporary tents.

Kedarnath Yatra has been divided into 7 sectors in order to conduct it in an orderly manner, for which 7 sector and 7 assistant sector officers have been deployed, who are only monitoring the facilities provided to the passengers and making the related arrangements readily available. Will be informed to get it done. Adequate security forces have been deployed by the Police Department for security arrangements on the Yatra route and Kedarnath Dham, for which proper training has also been provided to police officers and soldiers.
