IAS Suspend, was collector in Balodabazar

Raipur: The state government has issued a suspension order of 2009 batch IAS Kumar Lal Chauhan. GAD has said in its order that the religious place of Satnami community was damaged during May 2024 in Balodabazar-Bhatapara.

chhattisgarh news According to the complaints received regarding this incident, disciplinary action is pending against Kumar Lal Chauhan (IAS, 2009), the then collector, due to non-taking of appropriate action by the district administration. Therefore, the state government has suspended Kumar Lal Chauhan using the powers conferred under Rule-3 (1) (a) of the All India Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1969. During the suspension period, Kumar Lal Chauhan’s headquarters will be Chhattisgarh Ministry, Mahanadi Bhawan, Nava Raipur, Atal Nagar.
