INDIA alliance leaders protested with a copy of the Constitution in the Parliament premises

New Delhi: The first session of the 18th Lok Sabha of the country is starting from today. This session is going to be special in many ways. First of all, the swearing-in ceremony of all the MPs is to be held in this session, in which Protem Speaker Bhartrihari Mahtab will administer the oath to all the MPs. Along with this, there will also be an election for the post of Speaker.

The President will address a joint meeting of both the Houses of Parliament on June 27. After this, the debate on the motion of thanks on the President’s address will begin on June 28. At the same time, the Prime Minister will reply to the debate on July 2 or 3. This session is going to start from June 24 and continue till July 3 and a total of 8 meetings are going to be held during these 10 days.
