After the news went viral, the cannabis plants were set on fire even before media personnel could reach the campus to investigate. There was a strong smell of cannabis from the smoke of the fire. The matter was informed to the police and the police team also reached the university. A police team has taken samples of the plant and sent it to FSL for investigation.
