CG: Arang mob lynching case, third youth dies

RAIPUR. A third youth has also died on charges of animal smuggling in Arang, Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. The youth was undergoing treatment in the hospital. Where he died. SIT has been formed to catch the accused in this whole case. But till now the police is empty handed. The mob had beaten three Muslim youths accusing them of animal smuggling. In which two have already died and today the third youth has also died.

It is worth mentioning that on June 7, two youths of Saharanpur were beaten to death. At midnight, 3 youths were carrying animals in a truck in Arang police station area. According to a police officer, 10-12 youths followed them on the way. Where those people surrounded the truck on Mahanadi bridge. After this, they started beating the three youths in the truck fiercely. The body of one of these youths was found in Mahanadi and the other died in the hospital during treatment. At the same time, the third youth is seriously injured, who is undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Raipur.

Raipur SSP has formed SIT to investigate this case. Special investigation team will investigate this entire case. The leadership of the team has been handed over to Raipur Rural Additional SP Kirtan Rathore. Apart from this, about 14 police officers are included in the team. Even after about 4 days of the incident, the police have not been able to reach the perpetrators of the incident. Police does not have the answer to who were the people who attacked. SIT officials have claimed to reveal the truth soon.
