Hyderabad: Heavy rain in eight areas, IMD predicts more rain
Hyderabad: Eight areas in Hyderabad received heavy rains yesterday. Rains are likely in many areas today as well, according to IMD Hyderabad forecast. The highest rainfall in the city, 41 mm, was recorded in Saidabad. Peddemul, an area in Vikarabad district, received the highest rainfall in Telangana at 84.5 mm yesterday. The rains are likely to continue in the state for the next five days, as IMD Hyderabad has issued a yellow alert.
Apart from Saidabad, seven other areas in the city received heavy rains yesterday, according to data from the Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS). Following is the list of areas with their respective rainfall levels:

Yesterday, the temperature in Hyderabad ranged between 32 and 36 degrees Celsius. The rains forecast by IMD Hyderabad are expected to further drop the temperature in the state in the next few days.
