Telangana News: 4.03 lakh candidates will appear for Grade-1 preliminary examination on June 9

HYDERABAD. Hyderabad: A total of 4.03 lakh candidates will appear in the TPSC Group-1 preliminary examination. The exam will be held on Sunday from 10.30 am to 1 pm. The exam will be conducted simultaneously at 897 centers in 31 districts. It is worth noting that the TPSC Group-1 exam was canceled in February and April due to legal issues arising out of paper leak and non-compliance of norms in conducting the examination. The commission said that this time measures have been taken to implement candidate-specific OMR sheets and biometric attendance apart from installing CCTV cameras at the examination centers. Additionally, a Regional Coordinator (RC) has been appointed by the commission at every 20 centers to coordinate with all the Chief Superintendents. All 897 centers have been assigned Chief Superintendents, Local Route Officers, Departmental Officers, Seating Squads and Flying Squads for inspection centers. Help desks have been set up at the Collectorate to assist and guide the candidates, as well as district-wise help desk numbers are also available on the official website. The commission said that adequate police arrangements have been made at the entry gates as well as on the walls of the examination centres to prevent any untoward incident.

TGSRTC has been requested to increase the frequency of buses and the Revenue Department has issued Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure around the examination centres on Sunday. The entry gates will be closed at 10 am and no candidate will be allowed entry after the gates are closed.Calculators, pagers, cell phones, tablets, pen drives, mathematical tables, log tables, writing pads or any other electronic gadgets are not allowed
