Bhim Army leader shot dead in Bihar
Hajipur (IANS) | On Thursday, unknown criminals shot dead Bhim Army leader Rakesh Paswan in Lalganj police station area of Vaishali district of Bihar and fled. The reasons for the murder are yet to be ascertained. Tension prevailed in the area after the murder. According to the police, Rakesh Paswan, a resident of Pachdamiya village, was standing near his house on Thursday afternoon when the bike-borne criminals started firing at him. Paswan fell on the spot after being shot and the criminals fled.
After hearing the sound of the bullet, the people gathered in a hurry took him to the hospital. It is said that he died during treatment. Angered by his death in the hospital, his supporters created a ruckus.
Here, there is tension in the area after the incident. A police officer said that the police is conducting raids to arrest the criminals. The reasons for the murder are yet to be ascertained. The deceased was on a high position in the district level committee of Bhim Army.
