Mr & Mrs Mahi Box Office Collection Day 8: Janhvi Kapoor And Rajkummar Rao’s Film Sees A Dip

MUMBAI: Mr & Mrs Mahi has crossed the 25 crore mark at the box office. According to reports in Saccanlk, the sports-drama earned Rs 1.13 crore on the 8th day. So far, the Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer has collected Rs 25.75 crore at the domestic box office. After an impressive first week, the numbers have dropped slightly. Directed by Sharan Sharma, the film also stars Zarina Wahab, Kumud Mishra and Rajesh Sharma in pivotal roles. Mr & Mrs Mahi is the story of a married couple Mahendra and Mahima, who share the surname Mahi. After learning of Mahi’s love for cricket, Mahendra decides to coach his wife and help her become a professional cricketer. On Friday, Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted a note on X (formerly Twitter) to share the first week box office collection of Mr & Mrs Mahi. He wrote, “Mr & Mrs Mahi scores a respectable first week… needs to maintain the same momentum in the second week as the major films have started their regular flow: Munjya [June 7], followed by Chandu Champion [June 14], Ishqwishkar Rebound [June 21] and Kalki 2898AD [Thursday, June 27].”
Citing the figures, Taran Adarsh said, “[1st Week] Friday 6.85 cr [#CinemaLover’s Day], Saturday 4.65 cr, Sunday 5.62 cr, Monday 2.21 cr, Tuesday 1.86 cr, Wednesday 1.90 cr, Thursday 1.80 cr. Total: ₹ 24.89 cr. IndiaBusiness. BoxOffice.”
Before Mr & Mrs Mahi, a special screening was organised for Bollywood’s A-listers. The film’s lead actress Janhvi Kapoor arrived in a very stylish way, opting for method dressing and wearing a top with jersey details. Janhvi’s sister Khushi Kapoor was spotted with her rumoured boyfriend Vedang Raina. The Missing Ladies team including Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava and Nitanshi Goyal were also seen at the premiere. Janhvi’s father, producer Boney Kapoor, Mr & Mrs Mahi producer Karan Johar, actors Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu and Boman Irani also attended the event.
