Material
Mawa i.e. khoya – 100 grams
Flour – 150 grams
Raw milk- 100 grams
Cardamom – 2 teaspoons
Kewra water – 1 teaspoon
Sugar or jaggery – 1 bowl
Method
- First of all, sift the flour through a sieve into a deep plate. After sifting the flour, grate the mawa well with a grater.
- Heat the pan on low flame on the gas. Now put the grated mawa in a hot pan and fry it well.
While frying the mawa, keep stirring it continuously. If you stop stirring the mawa in the middle, it will stick to the surface of the vessel. - Mix milk in heated mawa and cook well. When the mawa and milk dissolve well, keep it to cool.
Now take another vessel and mix milk and sifted flour in it. Leave the milk and flour mixture aside for half an hour. - Prepare sugar syrup by putting a bowl of sugar in water. While preparing the syrup, be careful that it does not become too thick.
- Mix cardamom powder and kewra water in the syrup. After preparing the syrup, make Malpua.
- Keep oil in a pan to heat. After this, add the milk and flour mixture into the mawa. Malpua batter is ready.
- After this, with the help of a bowl, pour the Malpua sized batter in the pan and take it out while deep frying. After this, dip it in syrup and serve it hot.
