Samsung launches 3 refrigerators equipped with AI feature
Tech News: Samsung has added new AI-powered inverter compressor-equipped models to its refrigerator lineup. Three new refrigerators have been launched in India, some of the features of which include large smart display, low-noise compressor and Wi-Fi connectivity support. The company claims that the new technology present in it works to provide excellent cooling along with saving electricity costs. Samsung is also giving 20 years warranty on the AI inverter compressor of these models.
Samsung’s new AI Inverter Compressor Refrigerator price in India starts from Rs 1,72,900. The company has introduced three models, including the base model 650L four door French convertible variant, which comes in Black Caviar + Steel finish. The Clean White + Glass finish variant of the same capacity has been launched for Rs 1,88,900. The third model is the 809L four-door Flex French door variant, launched with Family Hub Clean Charcoal + Stainless Steel at Rs 3,55,000.
As we mentioned, Samsung is offering a 20-year warranty on its new AI inverter compressor. The company says that these new compressors produce four times more inertia than traditional compressors, making them extremely energy efficient.
These models can be purchased on Samsung’s official website, Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung showrooms, and leading electronic retail stores across India. There is also an exchange offer on these refrigerators, in which an exchange discount of up to Rs 15,000 will be available depending on the condition of the old model. If those who buy it from Samsung’s website use ICICI Bank credit and debit cards, they can get an instant discount of Rs 21,500.
Coming to the features. The new Samsung refrigerators are available in two storage capacities: 650 liters and 809 litres. Both variants have a new AI inverter compressor, which saves up to 10% energy. This compressor produces a maximum noise level of only 35 dB. The 650L model doesn’t have a Family Hub screen, but it does offer smart connectivity via Wi-Fi. These refrigerators can be controlled remotely through the Samsung SmartThings app on Android and iOS platforms. Both storage variants come with automatic ice maker.
The 809L variant comes with an 80 cm Family Hub screen, which lets users view inside the refrigerator through internal cameras as well as manage the food list. The screen also lets users switch between different cooling modes and suggests recipes based on the ingredients available inside the refrigerator.
