The bear had climbed a tree, a crowd gathered to see it

Korba. A bear came out of the forest of the district and reached near Madwarani railway station. Even before he could return to the forest, the movement of people started. Frightened by this, the bear climbed about 20 feet up the tree. Here a crowd of people kept gathering to see the bear.

The forest department received the news of the bear climbing a tree. After this the forest workers reached the spot and waited for the bear to land. Finally, when the bear came down from the tree late on Tuesday evening, it was chased into the forest.

Forest workers said that there is abundance of bears, chital and other wildlife in Sargabundia Circle under Kartala Forest Range of Korba Forest Division. Many times these wildlife reach populated areas in search of food and water. Even early on Tuesday, a bear came out of the forest and reached near Madwarani railway station. At first he kept wandering around for a long time. Meanwhile, people started coming and going in the morning, so instead of going into the forest, he climbed a tree there.
