Used to roam around with liquor on bike, police caught turtle

Raipur. Information was received by the informer that a person is coming towards Samoda illegally carrying liquor from village Achola Liquor Factory in a motorcycle Pulsar number CG04NF4730. On this information, Hamrah along with staff and witnesses stopped the motorcycle Pulsar by setting up a blockade near village Samoda bus stand Tiraha. On asking the name and address of the driver, Karan Banjare was told to be a resident of village Kurud. On asking the name of the person sitting behind the motorcycle Pulsar carrying a liquor sack, Brahmanand Amle was told to be a resident of village Kurud. On checking the sack, English liquor was found in a plastic white colored sack. 2020 Special 48 Pav worth Rs 6240 and motorcycle Pulsar number CG04 NF4730 were seized and taken into custody by the police. The act of the accused was found to be a crime under Section 34(2) of the Excise Act and they were duly arrested on 03/05/2024 and sent to judicial custody for 15 days. Has been sent to court in custody. The entire operation has been done by Sub Inspector Adho Ram Sahu, Constable Horilal Sonkar Girdhar Prajapati under the guidance of Police Station Incharge Satyendra Singh Shyam.
