Woman cheated of Rs 4 lakh, case registered against 2 youths

Durg. Keval Dewangan and Amit Haldhar, residents of Bhilai Housing Board Colony, along with promoting Mahadev Satta App, have also started doing black business of cheating people. Bhatti police has registered a case against both of them for cheating a woman of Rs 4.43 lakh in the name of share marketing. Both the accused are absconding since the case was registered.

Bhatti police said that Ranjit Kaur, resident of Sector 4 Road 10 Quarter No. 10, has filed a complaint against both of them. She told that Amit Haldhar and Kewal Dewangan were friends with her husband Vijay Singh. Taking advantage of that, both of them lured the woman and her husband to get good returns by investing money in the share market. Under his influence, the woman gave him Rs 4 lakh 43 thousand 801.

Amit had deposited the money in the account of Nihal Traders in Suryoday Small Finance Bank and the bank account of Sagar MP in Equitas Small Finance Bank. Due to lack of money, Vijay Singh borrowed money from two of his friends and got the money transferred to his account. After this he neither gave return nor returned the money. Police have registered a case of cheating against both of them.
